Image Systems combined explosion-proof CCTV with network-delivered video, allowing reactor images to be viewed from control rooms and other authorised locations. The archive records the first European V-serve 100 installation.

Highways installations
Cameras, communications, recording, masts, and monitoring were assembled to cover live roadworks with minimal blind spots and faster visibility of stopped vehicles, congestion, incidents, and safety-zone breaches.

Occupation bridge renewals
Image Systems described this as its fifth motorway installation: a thirteen-kilometre system supporting bridge renewals at Nether Kellet and Lane Ends.

- Two dome cameras concentrated around the bridge works
- The archive records at least 95% operational availability

Resurfacing with a seven-day window
The fourth motorway installation began with fifty-one static cameras and three wireless domes, then extended another 2.5 kilometres without interrupting the live system.
- Three wireless dome cameras covered The Rocket and the end of the M62
- Thirteen cameras were added while the original fifty-one stayed operational
- A digital multiplex recorder supported the secure monitoring compound
M65 km between bridges

Fibre solved the long-haul signal problem
The first motorway installation used high-speed dome cameras to observe the Cuerdan Hall and Armetriding bridge repair sites. Image Systems replaced an interference-prone transmission design with crush-proof multimode fibre.
- High-speed domes positioned at approximately 500-metre intervals
- Eight video-only and two video-and-telemetry fibre transmitters
- The replacement was designed, installed, and commissioned in two days

Three-shift barrier works monitoring
The archive’s blue button labels this report Preston, although its body accidentally repeats the previous Cuerdan Hall heading. The project record describes major barrier upgrades and heavy maintenance.

M623 additional cameras

Recovering an underspecified system
Image Systems was brought in as a backup contractor during the winter 2001–02 works, reworking an existing system that fell short of the operational requirement.
- The existing fibre cable infrastructure was retained
- Twenty-three cameras were added without disrupting the live system
- The additional installation was completed within one week
